Today we are going to talk about a skill that can transform your personal and professional life: the growth mindset. It is the belief that our skills and talents can be developed through effort, learning, and persistence. Unlike a fixed mindset, where capabilities are believed to be innate and unchanging, the growth mindset drives us to overcome challenges and to see failure as an opportunity to learn and improve.

Characteristics of the Growth Mindset
- Persistence and Resilience:
- Face challenges with the determination to overcome them.
- See obstacles as opportunities to grow.
- Continuous Learning:
- Constantly seek new opportunities to learn and develop.
- Be open to receiving feedback and use it to improve.
- Adaptability:
- Be flexible and adapt to changes and new situations.
- Adjust strategies when necessary to achieve objectives.
- Effort and Dedication:
- Believe that effort and practice are essential to improve.
- Work hard and stay focused on long-term goals.
HOW CAN I DEVELOP MY GROWTH MINDSET?
- Accept Challenges: Get out of your comfort zone and face new challenges.
- Learn from Mistakes: See failure as an opportunity to learn and grow, not as a reflection of your ability.
- Cultivate Self-Knowledge: Reflect on your experiences and seek to understand your strengths and areas for improvement.
- Seek Feedback: Ask for and accept constructive feedback to continuously improve.
- Keep a Positive Attitude: Believe in your ability to learn and improve over time.
- For example, in my case, when I started my channel, I felt that I did not have the necessary skills to speak in front of the camera, but I understood that it was a matter of practice and learning. Today, thanks to persistence, seeking feedback and learning from my mistakes, having a positive attitude, I enjoy sharing content with you.
I invite you to reflect in writing on a recent challenge you have faced:
- What have you learned from that experience?
- What could you do differently next time?
I would like to end with a reflection by Denis Waitley, related to what is known as imposter syndrome: “It is not what you are that stops you, but what you think you cannot be”.
“Remember to continue developing your talent to reach your best version”
